Shore Thing Pub and Brewery Tour

Saturday, September 24, 11:30am – 3:30pm

playground Take the tour to build a playground for visually impaired children!

For almost 100 years Lions have worked on projects to prevent blindness, restore eyesight and improve eye health worldwide. In keeping with this longstanding cause, the Colts Neck Lions Club is raising funds to build a playground specially designed for blind and visually impaired children in and around Monmouth County. You can help build the playground by supporting this fundraiser. Proceeds will go to the playground construction project and other Lions charities. There will be good food & drink, and commemorative T-shirts – all for a good cause.

On September 24th at 11:30 AM buses will line up at Huddy’s Inn parking lot on Rt. 537 (just east of Rt. 34), Colts Neck, NJ. The Shore Thing Tour will visit local pubs and a brewery right here on the Jersey shore. The buses will go to the Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten for delicious food and its authentic biergarten experience. Next is the Beach Haus Brewery in Belmar: “We were born to brew. That’s all there is to it.” The tour continues with Woody’s Roadside Tavern, located in the historic building formerly called The Farmingdale House. The tour finishes back at Huddy’s Inn named for Colts Neck’s revolutionary privateer. The pubs will discount their drinks for supporters, identified by their T-shirts. The cost for the Tour is $40 per person before September 17th. (Just click the button below.) On September 17th registration increases to $50. Please register by September 16th to insure a seat on the bus.
