Work Fair for the New Jersey Blind Citizens Association

The Colts Neck Lions Club has organized and led three Work Fairs to refurbish Camp Happiness, a camp for the blind and visually impaired on Sandy Hook Bay in Leonardo, NJ. The Colts Neck Lions first organized the Work Fair in 1996, enlisting other Lions Clubs in the area to join in restoring the camp facilities, which were built in 1930. The Colts Neck Club contributed funds and hundreds of hours of work over the years. Other participating clubs have come from Trenton, Windsor, Oceanport, Highlands, Atlantic Highlands, Middletown, Brick, Freehold Township, Mercerville, Howell, Hopewell, Hopewell Valley, and Red Bank.
